On 22 October 2016, H.E. Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of the People's Republic of China, in his capacity as Special Envoy of the President the People's Republic of China, laid a wreath to honor and paid respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall inside the Grand Palace and signed a message of condolences.
