On 19 October 2016 at 18.00 hours. H.E. Mr. Kiattikhun Chartprasert accompanied by Mrs. Jaruwat Chartprasert along with head of Team Thailand, the Embassy’s officials, staffs, and their families, and over 1,200 Thai people and their families living in Sweden as well as Swedish people attended a candle-lighting ceremony organized by the Embassy in remembrance of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and to pay their respect to His Majesty. Later, Ambassador Kiattikhun led the participants in singing the Royal Anthem and then observed nine minutes of silence. The Embassy also arranged a book of condolences to be signed at the Embassy as well.
