On 16 October 2016, Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver, joined members of Thai Community in Vancouver and nearby cities at the Buddhist merit making ceremony organized by Yanviriya I Temple in Vancouver to pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The ceremony was participated by more than 200 people.

             In addition to the religious ceremony, the Royal Thai Consulate-General also opened a Condolence Book for the people to sign. All participants expressed their royalty and deepest gratitude to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
