On 15 September 2016, Consul-General Dusit Manapan attended and delivered the welcoming remarks at the ‘Summer Sanuk Party’, hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Thai Airways in Osaka, at Misono Universe Building Namba, Osaka. The event’s main purposes were to promote Thailand as a tourist destination and to strengthen the partnership between with local travel agencies and media. About 150 invited guests attended the event. The event offered a variety of activities including the screening of TAT’s Thailand tourism promotion short video, a reception of Thai food, Thai cultural performances and a concert performed by famous Thai artists such as GO Mr. Saxman, VieTrio, Gam and Dome the Stars, games and the lucky draw with a round-trip business class air ticket to Bangkok from TG with accommodation from TAT as the main prize.
