On 19 September 2016, Phra Dhammamongkolyarn (Luang Por Viriyang Sirintharo) Lord Abbot of Dhammamongkol Temple in Bangkok and the founder of the Willpower Institute, presided over the Orientation Meditation Instructor Course at Ratchadhamviriyaram 1 Temple in Ottawa, after traveling to other branch institutes across Canada, namely in Vancouver, Calgary, Niagara Falls, Toronto and Edmonton. On this auspicious occasion, Ambassador Vijavat and Mrs. Wannipa Isarabhakdi, along with other devoted Thais and Canadians, came to pay their respect to Venerable Luang Por.
