On 30 August 2016, Mr. Michael Radutsky, Royal Thai Honorary Consul in Kiev, accompanied by Ms. Antonina Dergileva, Assistant to the Honorary Consul, paid a courtersy call upon Dr. Kriangsak Kittichaisaree, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, and had in-depth discussion with Team Thailand on various issues to further promote the interests of Thailand in Ukraine; namely, the protection of Thai citizens in Ukraine, the issuance of different visa types, the political and security situation in Ukraine, opportunities for Thai restaurants and Thai products in Ukraine, tourism promotion for more Ukrainian tourists to visit Thailand, as well as a plan to jointly cooperate with the Embassy in organizing Thai cultural events in Ukraine. Colonel Kom Viriyavejakul, Defense and Army Attaché, Mr. Kittinand Yingcharoen, Minister (commercial affairs), and Mr. Kitti Tantirangsri, Minister Counselor, participated in this meeting.
