On Sunday, the 7th of August 2016 at 11.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Ruengdej Mahasaranond, Ambassador to the Republic of Peru, led the Thai community in Lima at the ceremony celebrating the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2016. The event was organized at the residence of the Ambassador in Lima with 
the purpose of showing respect and loyalty as well as appreciation to Her Majesty the Queen’s dedication and works in alleviating the living condition of Thai people. During the ceremony, 
H.E. the Ambassador read a well-wishing speech to Her Majesty the Queen and awarded the children who have participated in the art contest in commemorating this occasion. 
The Thai community also sang "Sadudee Maharacha" (or "Hymn to the Great King") for 
Her Majesty the Queen. The ceremony was followed by lunch.
