On 10 July 2016, Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and spouse, together with the Royal Thai Embassy officials attended the Australia-Thailand Association (Canberra) – ATA “Mid-Winter Dinner” at Canberra Raiders Club.  More than 50 guests participated in this event, namely Mr. Fred Cook, President of ATA, the ATA Committee and members, and Thai students in Canberra.     

          On this occasion, the Ambassador thanked ATA for its active role in promoting people-to-people relations between Thailand and Australia as well as its continued support for the Embassy’s upcoming activities.  The Ambassador also invited ATA’s members and family to the “Candlelight Ceremony in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 84th Birthday Anniversary” at Sala Thai, Royal Thai Embassy on 7 August 2016 and “14th Thai Food and Cultural Festival 2016” on 11 September 2016.
