On 29 June 2016, H.E. Mr. Kraingsak Kittichaisaree, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, hosted a luncheon and provided an orientation briefing for Ms. Angelina Kaltahchyan, a student from the Institute of Asian and African Studies, Moscow State University and Mr. Gleb Svistin, a student from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, who will participate in the 4th Youth Volunteer Project for Learning Royal Initiatives at the Puparn Development Study Centre, Sakon Nakorn Province, during 4 -30 July 2016. This year 3 Russian students are among the 12 students from different countries all over the world selected to participate in the Project.
The purposes of the Youth Volunteer Project for Learning Royal Initiatives are to promote a better understanding of the contribution of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the Royal Family as one of major unifying forces of the Thai society among new generations in Thailand and foreign countries. The Project offers opportunities for the foreign participants to build a network with Thai students, learn the concept of self-reliance based on His Majesty’s philosophy, Thai community’s life-style in a rural area, and gain the volunteering spirit.
