On 9 June 2016 at 19.00 hrs. (Local time), the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai community in Qatar organized the ceremony to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Seventieth Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the Throne.  H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, led the Thai community to deliver a congratulatory message and sing the songs for Long Live His Majesty the King and Queen. A documentary short-film entitled “Follow the King's Footsteps” which was produced by TV Burabha Co., Ltd. was also screened to the gathering. This followed by a performance on “Follow the King's Footsteps” by the students, parents and teachers of the Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar. These serve as an inspiration for all Thai people to learn and adopt His Majesty the King's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for their way of life. Approximately 100 Thai people and Friends of Thailand attended the ceremony.
