On 30 May 2016 at 11.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Thongchai Chasawath, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presented financial contribution to the Thai Studies Programme, Centre for Language Studies (CLS), National University of Singapore (NUS) to be awarded to the best student in the Thai Studies Programme for the 2016 academic year. Representing CLS in receiving the contribution were Ms. Sasiwimol Klayklueng, Head of the Thai Studies Programme and Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor Titima Suthiwan, Director of CLS. Also present at the meeting was Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, and Mrs. Pachara Lochindaratana Janes, First Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy.
