On 30 April 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, organized a career counselling session for Thai students under the Malaysian Government Scholarship Programme cohort #4 who were studying in Form V in Malaysian Secondary Schools. The session, which featured talks from HE the Ambassador, a successful Thai Muslim diplomat, Thai students in Malaysia and experts from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, aimed to provide the 60 student participants with inspiration for and information about further and higher studies as well as scholarships in Thailand, Malaysia and beyond.
