Mr. Danai Menabodhi, Charge d' Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh accompanied by his officials traveled by car to provided the fourth mobile consular services   of this year on 9th and 12th  April 2016, at Sakaka and Tabuk, respectively, around 1,200 km. north from Riyadh.
Thai community in the northern Saudi Arabia participated in the activity. Applications of new passport were processed while labour and legalization consultation were also provided. Necessary guidance as per rules and regulations of the country was also highlighted.
Most of Thai people in the northern region are aged workers who have been hired for more than two decades by Saudis employers. However, the Royal Thai Embassy was encouraged by Thai community to organize a mobile medical unit in North while the Embassy will consider to do so as part of public diplomacy.           The Embassy’s group took a chance to survey routes of evacuation of Thais living in Saudi Arabia in case of emergency. Tabuk is found as the most appropriate northern city due to its perfect infrastructure, close to the border of Jordan-Saudi Arabia (150 Km.) and strong Thai community.
