On 29 March 2016, H.E. Mr. Wijak Chittarat presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Liberia.

            On this auspicious occasion during the audience with H.E. the President of the Republic of Liberia and in the presence of H.E. Ms. Marjon Kamara, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, H.E. the Ambassador has expressed his willingness to work closely with the Liberian authorities to further strengthen the happy relations and bilateral ties between the two countries to promote economic cooperation, to enhance development cooperation through Thailand’s expertise particularly in agriculture and public health fields which are of Thailand’s expertise. H.E. the Ambassador also mentioned about activities in the near future which will be carried on in coordination with the Liberian authorities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Liberia in 2016.
