A signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on Enhancing Knowledge and Understanding of Cultural Diversity in ASEAN between Department of ASEAN Affairs and Higher Education Institutions in Partnership with Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held at the Naradhip Auditorium, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 29 March 2016.

         Promoting academic partnership with Higher Education Institutions is in line with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ policy of Inclusive Diplomacy. The ASEAN Department has enjoyed longstanding cooperation with Rajabhat University Network, especially in human resources development. The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to promote better understanding, unity, and cohesiveness among the ASEAN Community. It also serves as mechanism to cultivate knowledge on Thainess in ASEAN’s identity and as well as to create awareness of ASEAN cultural diversity.
