1. Thailand Maritime Enforcement Coordinating Center (THAI-MECC) to have a meeting and exchange ideas with Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea to discuss with the Korean authorities concerned about the fight against the Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported (IUU) Fishing

 

            On 29 January 2016, Rear Admiral Kriengkrai Anantasan, RTN., Thailand Maritime Enforcement Coordinating Center (THAI-MECC) led a delegation from related agencies of Thailand to have a meeting and exchange ideas with H.E.Mr.Sarun Charoensuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea. The THAI-MECC delegation visited the Republic of Korea from 24-29 January 2016 to discuss with the Korean authorities concerned about the fight against the Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported (IUU) Fishing.

 

2. Thailand joins the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)

 

            On 29 January 2016, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, delivered the Instrument of Accession to become the member of the GGGI to Mr.Yvo de Boer, Director-General of GGGI. Both sides also discussed ways to closely work together to enhance cooperation in the green growth and sustainable economic development.

 

3. The Royal Thai Embassy dispatched a Consular Mobile Unit to Gimhae to provide passport and legalization service

 

            On 30 January 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy dispatched a Consular Mobile Unit to Gimhae to provide passport and legalization service for around 300 Thais.
