On 16^th October 2015, H.E. Mr. Kim Hong-kyun, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK) paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss Thailand and ROK relations, The topics of discussion included the reactivation of Joint Commission Meetings and the Policy Consultations between the two countries. The two sides also congratulated each other on the successful conclusion of the feasibility study on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), and agreed to work together in creating environment conducive for formal negotiations.  Mr. Kim reiterated the keen interest of Republic of Korean investors in Thailand’s infrastructure projects, such as, the Water Management and the Thai Earth Observation System Satellite Projects.
