With regard to the recent ongoing speculation in several news outlet that the perpetrators behind the incident at Ratchaprasong on 17 August 2015 have used foreign travel documents or have linkages to particular countries, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically stated that the Thai authorities have never made any such speculation as the investigation is still ongoing.
         The relevant information about the incident has been announced by the National Council for Peace and Order to the public periodically on a daily basis.  The public is advised to follow updates regarding the matter from official sources only.
