On 11 August 2015, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over the “ 5th Thai Cooking Class in Egypt” for 18 hotel chefs in Sharm el Sheikh at Sala Thai Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Sharm el Sheikh Hotel, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with the Egyptian Chefs Association.
Chef Aworn of Sala Thai Restaurant demonstrated and taught the participants to cook 5 recipes of Thai food and dessert namely; fish cake, chicken in coconut milk soup, Thai fried noodle with shrimp, green curry with shrimp, and sticky rice with mango. The participants enjoyed their learning and appreciated the Thai cooking class.
The Embassy will further organize the cooking class series to the target groups in other cities in Egypt in the coming month.
