On 18 July 2015, Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassdor of Thailand to Pakistan, attended Eid-ul-Fitr celebration organised by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Students Union, Islamabad, which marked the end of the one month fasting for Muslims. More than 150 students from International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Madrassahs in Rawalpindi, Raiwind, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Talagang, and Karachi including the Thai community in Islamabad, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Office of Defence Attache attended the event. On this occasion, Ambassador expressed his admiration to the Thai students for their devotion and commitment during Ramadan. He also appreciated the Thai students for their efforts in jointly organizing this event and wished everyone happiness as well as good health.
