On 1 May 2015 – Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Chargé d’Affaires of Thailand, presided over the Labour Day celebration 2015 at Republic Avenue which was  organised by the Office of Labour Affairs of Thailand and the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

            More than 2,500 Thai workers joined the event, whereby a number of activities were held, including Mobile Consular Unit by the Royal Thai Embassy, exhibitions from several Singaporean agencies, music and shows, as well as sports competitions. On this occasion, Chargé d’Affaires as well as other high-level officers from Team Thailand presented the prizes to all winners of the sports competitions and also certificates of appreciation to supporters of this event.
