Ambassador of Thialand to Egypt presided over the "1st Thai Cooking Class in Egypt"

On 15 April 2015, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over the “ 1st Thai Cooking Class in Egypt” for 14 spouses of diplomats in Cairo at InterContinental Semiramis Hotel, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with Egyptian Chefs Association.
Chef Narong from Bird Cage restaurant demonstrated and taught the participants to cook 5 recipes of Thai food and dessert namely; vegetable spring roll, seafood salad with lemon glass, shrimp in coconut milk soup, chicken red curry with bamboo shoot, beef with basil leave and chilli, and fried banana with coconut powder. The participants enjoyed their learning with high appreciation of cooking class.
The Embassy will further organize the cooking class series to the other target groups in different cities in the months to come.
