On Wednesday 1st April 2015 at the Scout Headquarters, H.E. Mr. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka attended the Bon Voyage Ceremony for a contingent of 55 Sri Lankan scouts who are going to attend the 20th Thailand National Scout Jamboree at Vajiravudh International Scout Camp, Sriracha, Chonburi from 4th to 10th April 2015. 

 

            As the Chief Guest, H.E. Mr. Nopporn gave a farewell remarks to a contingent of 55 Sri Lankan scouts and took this opportunity to update about political situation in Thailand. In this regard, H.E. Mr. Nopporn reassured the scouts and their parents that Thailand is now on the right track. The National Council for Peace and Order and the Royal Thai Government are working side by side to implement the 3-step roadmap to bring back genuine democracy to Thailand. The general elections would take place by early next year. H.E. Mr. Nopporn also invited all scouts and their parents to travel in Thailand as this year is “2015 Discover Thainess”.
