First Secretary Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra visited Thai student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane

            On 26 March 2015, Mr. Thanabordee Joothong, First Secretary (Consular Officer), Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, visited Miss Pornpimol Traimittapap, Thai student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, who is suffering a severe brain injuries resulting from accident on 21 March 2015.  She is currently being treated at Neurology Section of the Royal Brisbane Hospital.  Since the accident, the Office of Educational Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy has informed the Student Groups of QUT to visit Miss Traimittapap at the hospital as well as inform the university of her absence.  The Embassy has coordinate with Australia Embassy in Bangkok to issue visa to issued a Note Verbale to her family members who wish to come to visit her in Australia.  At present, Miss Traimittapap seems to recover very well.  She is expected to stay in the hospital for 1-2 more weeks.
