On 27 March 2015, The Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra, hosted a gathering dinner for Thai students in Canberra and the Australia-Thailand Association, Canberra (ATA). In this event, the Thai students and members of ATA met with Ambassador Chirachai Punkrasin, who recently assumed his duty in Australia. This gathering also provided an opportunity for ATA members and Thai students to get to know each other better which contributes to network-building and cooperation in the future. More than 70 people attended this event.
