Ambassador to Canberra and spouse visited Tangola Company in mordialloc, Victoria

            On 16 March 2015, H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand and spouse, and Mr. Vathayudh Vichankaiyakij, Counsellor, visited Tangola Company, a specialist wholesale supplier of Thai groceries that primarily serves the Thai restaurants of Victoria, in Mordialloc, Victoria. Mr. Rob Fraser,managing director, welcomed the group.
 
            Then, the Ambassador attended a luncheon hosted by Dr. Simon Wallace, Honorary Consul –General in  Melbourne, with the executives of Thai companies in Victoria including Mega Lifesciences, Sammitr Motors, SinghAus, Aeroklas and Tangola. The Ambassador remarked    that Thai companies played an important role in promoting trade and investment relations between Thailand and Australia. H.E. Mr. Chirachai emphasized that the Royal Thai Embassy is open for comments and suggestions from the business sector and is working to increase outbound Australian investment in Thailand.
 
            On this occasion, the Ambassador also visited the Office of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Melbourne and had discussion with the Honorary Consul-General.
