On Sunday 1 March 2015, Mr. Aroon Jivasakapimas, Consul-General, along with Mr. Patt Padhamachit, Deputy Consul-General, and Ms. Usa Sridhoop, Vice Consul (Labour) , presided over the 2015 New Year Day Party for Thai Community at  Argyle Street Playground City, Kowloon. The party was organized by Thai Women Association in Hong Kong, sponsored by Thai groceries stores, Thai restaurants, Thai temples, Thai associations, and Royal Thai Consulate-General, Hong Kong. The profit from the event would be donated by the organizers to HIV/AIDS patients care project of Wat Phra Baht Nam Phu Temple in Lopburi Province, Thailand.

 

            The Consul-General had also taken this opportunity to discuss about cooperation between Thai and Kowloon communities with Mr. Brian Cheung, Acting Deputy Chief Executive of The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon, and Ms. Chieu-tong Tsang, Chief Inspector of Police, as well as Mr. Leo Li Yiu-ming, Sergent of Hong Kong Police Force, Kowloon City District.
