On 2December2014,the Royal Thai Embassyin Brasilia held a reception to celebratethe87th BirthdayAnniversaryofHis MajestyKing BhumibolAdulyadejand theNational Day ofThailand at the Grand Hall, the Royal Tulip Hotel.More than 220 high-ranking officials from the Government of Brazil, diplomaticcorpsand Brazilian business executivesparticipated in the said reception.

 

            H.E. Mr.PitchayaphantCharnbhumidol,  Ambassador of Thailand to Brazil delivered well-wishing remarks paying tribute to His Majesty the King and to His life-long dedication to improve the livelihood of Thai people and development of Thailand. 

 

            He also touched upon the close and cordial friendship between Thailand and Brazil. This year marks the 55th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The bilateral cooperation have expanded in all areas. He briefed the audience on the political situation of Thailand and its progress in implementing the 3 –stage Roadmap.

 

            During the event, the Embassy presented exhibitions of H.M. the King’s Dedicated Works and Achievements as well as displays of Thai culture and tourist attractions.
