On 8 November 2014, H.E. Mrs. Kanthong Unakul, Thai Ambassador to Nepal, joined the Robe Offering Ceremony 2014 in Royal Thai Monastery in Lumbini, led by Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan and Media groups and received by Phra Tepbodhivides, Head of Thai Buddhist missionary in India and Nepal, and chief abbot of Thai Buddhagaya Temple and Official Chief Abbot of Royal Thai Monastery, Lumbini.  The Ambassador has later joined the Inauguration Ceremony of World Peace and Harmony Visitor Center in Lumbini, which was built  to serve the usage of Buddhist activity for Thai and worldwide Buddhists. The ceremony was attended by 160 persons, including members of LDT Committee, High level monks from International Buddhist Temples as well as Buddhist from Thailand.
