On November 24th, 2014, H.E. Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of the Kingdom ofThailand to the Federal Republic of Germany, attended and delivered a welcoming address at the Thai Cultural Evening at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich. This event, hosted byKhunying Barbara Riepl, the Royal Thai Honorary Consul-General for Bavaria and Saxony, in Munich for the fourth consecutive year, cordially welcomed more than 400 guests from public and private sectors, and local media, including Dr. Peter Müller, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education and Culture, Science and Art, as representative from Bavarian State Government.  

 

            This year, information on Thailand was introduced to the distinguished guests from various aspects; such as presentation on potentials on economics and tourism industry, the interview with Dr. Hans Schumacher, former Ambassador of Germany to Thailand, on German - Thai relations in business, culture and daily life, and musical performances by the internationally renowned Thai musicians, namely Mr. Somtow Sucharitkul, Mr. Trisdee na Patalung, and Mr. Saranyu Suwannasoonthon, which were widely appraised.
