On 11 October 2014, Embassy of Vietnam in Moscow, as the Chair of the ASEAN Moscow Committee hosted the ASEAN Sports Day among Embassies of ASEAN Member States and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at Druzhba Sports Complex, Luzhniki Stadium. Featuring table-tennis, badminton, and volleyball competitions, the event was aimed at promoting ASEAN unity as well as further enhancing the relations among the members of the ASEAN Moscow Committee. The Ambassadors, diplomats, and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the event and presented to the participants from other Embassies a small banquet of Thai delicacies. 

 

            On this occasion, the Ambassador of Vietnam handed over the Chairmanship of the ASEAN Moscow Committee to Brunei Darussalam, who will serve as Chair until March 2015.
