Thailand at the MSV International Fair 2014 as ‘Special Guest Country’

            Thailand participates in the MSV International Fair 2014 as the ‘Special Guest Country’ of this year.  MSV Fair is the biggest engineering fair in Central and Eastern Europe, organizing annually in Brno, the Czech Republic.  This year, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, in joint cooperation with Board of Investment of Thailand and the Federation of Thai Industries, brought leading companies from Thailand to join the Thailand Pavilion at the fair for the second year.
 
            On 29 September 2014, the opening day of the Fair, H.E. Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic visited the Thailand Pavilion and met with H.E. Mr. Vitavas Srivihok, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, along with Capt. Suwipan Thisyamondol, Deputy Director-General of Department of International Trade Promotion, Mrs. Natee Chuansanit, Director of Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy, delegates from the Federation of Thai Industries and Thai entrepreneurs.
 
            On this occasion, the Office of Commercial Affairs, Board of Investment of Thailand and the Federation of Thai Industries, in collaboration with the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, also held a Business Forum on ‘Thai-Czech Industrial and Trade Partnership’ at the Fair on 30 September 2014.  At the opening ceremony of the Business Forum, H.E. Mr. Vitavas Srivihok, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic and H.E. Mr. Vladimir Bärtl, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic delivered the opening remarks, following by the remarks of Capt. Suwipan Thisyamondol, Deputy Director-General of Department of International Trade Promotion and Madam Dagmar Kuchtová, Director-General of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic regarding the cooperation between Thailand and the Czech Republic.
