On 12-13 September 2014, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon led Mr. Kang Bee Ann, JP, Board of Directors of Lions Club of Tanah Merah, together with members of club, to the district of Sukhirin, Narathiwat province to hold the “Kelantan-Sukhirin Relationship Project” with the objective of promoting closer cooperation and goodwill between the peoples of Thailand and Malaysia.  On this occasion Lions Club of Tanah Merah donated processed food to the people of Sukhirin and the Rotary Club of Kota Bharu also contributed skipping ropes to the Chief District Officer of Sukhirin which will be handed out to schools in the district to promote exercise and healthy lifestyles among the youth.
