On 22 August 2014, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia , and Ms. Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary, attended the dinner with the participants of BRIDGE project- the collaborative project between Asia Education Foundation and Australia-Thailand Institute.  12 Thai and 12 Australian teachers participated in the exchange program to set up school linkages. The 2nd year project encompasses primary, secondary and special education schools.

 

            In this occasion, Ambassador welcomed the delegates and affirmed the importance of BRIDGE program, which created the closer relationship between Australians and Thais. This project also prepared the Australian youth for the Australia New Colombo Plan in the future.
