On 22 August 2014, H.E. Mr.Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, and Ms.Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary gave a courtesy call to Mrs Vicki Dunne MLA, the Speaker of the ACT Legislative Assembly. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss about the multicultural cooperation between Australia and Thailand, especially about the activities of community, to invite Mrs. Dunne to preside at the 12^th Thai food & Cultural Festival on Sunday 21^st September 2014. Ambassador also explained about the Thai political situation including the history of Thai democracy and its development, the roadmap solution of recent political situation in Thailand and also mentioned a close relationship between Thailand and Australia, regardless of politics.
