Ambassador of Thailand to Australia welcomed a group of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Department of Defence

         On 15 August 2014, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa,  Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, Mr. Monsak Jangariyawong, First Secretary and Ms. Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary welcomed a group of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Department of Defence including 10 persons. The group consists of Lynda Worthaisong – (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade - DFAT), Amelia Henty - DFAT, Octavia Borthwick – DFAT, Tarie Dellora – DFAT,  Kirsten Fletcher – DFAT, Jason Hall – Australian Government Department of Defence, Craig Keating – ( Office Of National Assessments - ONA) and Kulapatra Yathip – DFAT
 
          Ambassador gave a briefing on “Course Immersion” and Thai political situation including the history of Thai democracy and its development, the roadmap solution of recent political situation in Thailand and also mentioned a close relationship between Thailand and Australia. In this occasion, ambassador spoke to the group to pass on the message in order to make Australian understand the situation in Thailand, and ask the group to support the closer relationship between the two countries especially from people to people.
