On 10^th August 2014 , H.E. Mrs. Kundalee Prachimdhit, Thai Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, presided over the opening ceremony of the 7th Thai people and Thai students in Morocco’s Sports Day in Rabat at Al Mamoun indoor stadium, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Rabat and the Thai students Association in Morocco.

            The event received excellent support from the Thai community, their family and Thai students in Morocco, who played parts in sepak takraw, volleyball, badminton, football, and Thai traditional sports, plus enthusiastic spectators totaled over 120 persons.

            After a hard contested but thoroughly fair and fun day of sports, the Ambassador handed over trophies and medals to the winning teams and invited everyone to an evening function in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 82nd Birthday Anniversary. Her Excellency led a crowd of Thais, comprising diplomats at the Embassy, and those residing in Morocco to light candles and offer blessings to Her Majesty the Queen.

            The organization of this event is a success and helps Thai people in Morocco to get together and build close networks in cooperation with the Embassy. It is coincide with Thailand’s foreign policy to promote unity among Thai communities as well as good image of Thailand.
