Subject: Broadcasting of Terrestrial Digital and Satellite Television Channels

            Following the announcement of the NCPO No. 15/2557 dated 22 May B.E. 2557 (2014) on the request for suspension of broadcasting by satellite and cable television channels, digital television channels, and community radio stations in order to ensure that news and information are disseminated to the public accurately and without distortion, so as to avoid misunderstanding which might affect the maintenance of peace and order; as the current situation on public dissemination of news and information is beginning to return to normal, the NCPO hereby announces that:

            1. The following television channels are allowed to resume broadcasting their programs normally:

                        (1) Voice TV (digital television channels)

                        (2) T News (satellite television channels)

            2. The content of the programs broadcast by the said television channels must be strictly in accordance with the announcement of the NCPO No. 14/2557 dated 22 May B.E. 2557 (2014) on the prohibition of instigation of conflict and opposition to the function of the NCPO, announcement of the NCPO No. 18/2557 dated 22 May B.E. 2557 (2014) on the dissemination of information and news to the public, announcement of the NCPO No. 23/2557 dated 23 May B.E. 2557 (2014) on the broadcasting by terrestrial analog television/radio stations and radio stations, and announcement of the NCPO No. 27/2557 dated 24 May B.E. 2557 (2014) on the broadcasts by terrestrial digital television/radio stations and television stations under permit, contract or concession from governmental agencies, public enterprises and other state bodies, and other relevant laws.

            This announcement shall take effect immediately.
