No. 8/2557

Subject: Exemptions from the Curfew Order

            Following the prohibition on the public leaving their residence during restricted hours, as stated in the announcement of the National Peace and Order Maintaining Council (NPOMC) No. 3/2557 on 22 May 2014;

            In order to mitigate the impact on those whose occupation is normally carried out beyond the curfew, the following persons are exempt from the restriction:

 

1.      Those entering or leaving Thailand;

2.      Officers and employees working in industries that require shift work, such as industrial factories, hospitals, and air-transport enterprises;

3.      Those employed in the transportation of frozen/chilled products, and the import and export of perishable goods;

4.      Those with extreme necessities, such as patients travelling to hospitals and officials performing humanitarian duties;

5.      Those with other necessary business shall ask for permission from military personnel in their respective areas.
