On May 7, 2014, Mr. Moskovkin Aleksander, Representative of the Ministry of Economic Development under the Government of Sverdlovsk Region in the Russian Federation paid a courtesy call upon H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation. The Meeting was also attended by Ms. Kalayanee Sirikul, Minister (commercial affairs) and Mr. Boonyarit Vichienpuntu, Counsellor (economic affairs). 

     Mr. Aleksander took this opportunity to officially present a Letter of Invitation that was extended by the said Russian local government for Thailand to participate in an important trade fair of Russia, INNOPROM 2014. The event will be scheduled to take place in Yekatarinburg from July 9 - 12, 2014.

     Consequently, the Thai Ambassador reiterated the strong intention of the Thai side to actively participate in this event as it is an important annual event in Russia with more than 570 participants worldwide that the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation gives strong support. The Office of Commercial Affairs in Moscow is working closely with Thai - Russian Business Council to invite, as well as provide facilitations to the representatives of Thai private sectors in the relevant fields that are interested to take part in this event.
