Order of the Peace and Order Maintaining Command

Subject: Broadcastings of radio broadcast stations, broadcasting services and community radio stations

     In order to ensure an accurate circulation of news to the public and to enable continuous and up-to-date communications between central and regional administrations; thus, pursuant to Sections 10 and 11 of the Martial Law Act B.E. 2457 (1914), all radio broadcasting stations, radio and television broadcasting services, as well as satellite and cable television stations are requested to accord the following orders:
     1. All radio stations, public and private, are to suspend their normal programmes and to broadcast announcements from the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel upon request;
     2. All television broadcasting services, public and private, are to suspend their normal programmes and to broadcast programmes from the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel upon request;
     3. All satellite and cable television stations are to suspend their normal programmes and to transmit programmes from the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel upon request.
This order shall take effect immediately until further notice
