On 20 March 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, supported Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to organize the TCEB Business Forum in the theme "Thailand Exhibition, Business Success for ASEAN Platform" at Impiana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Officiated by Dato' Dr. Wong Lai Sum, CEO of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), and Mrs. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Exhibitions and Events Director of TCEB, the event's main activities included a panel discussion and a business matching session between Malaysian businesses and representatives from the Thai exhibition industry.

 

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, joined Mrs. Jaruwan during the Press Conference to send his reassurance to the Malaysian media about the stable business climate in Thailand. His Excellency also gave the closing remarks after the panel discussion, when he encouraged the business sectors in Thailand and Malaysia to use the long historical friendship between the two countries as the pretext for strengthening the business relations. Besides, in the evening, His Excellency and his wife, Mrs. Korbkiat Kraichitti, also hosted a network dinner to some 70 Thai and Malaysian business representatives at His Excellency's Official Residence.
