On Sunday 30 March 2014, H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and members of Team Thailand in Singapore, were invited as special guests to an orchestra concert, West Winds in Concert 2014, at Lee Foundation Theatre, with Lieutenant Colonel Prateep Suphanrojn, Bandmaster of the Royal Thai Army Band, Conductor in Residence of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO), and lecturer at College of Music, Mahidol University, performed as the guest conductor from Thailand. Famous Thai royal and traditional songs have been rearranged into modern orchestral pieces.
