The CAPO wished to reaffirm that it is a special body set up to maintain peace and order, to enforce the law, and it is not an opponent to any groups either the PDRC or the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD).

2. The CAPO has received a report from the DSI regarding the legal actions against Mr.Suthep Thaugsuban and other 58 PDRC's leaders. Officials from the Royal Thai Police, the DSI, and the office of the Attorney-General will be working in cooperation in these cases. The Royal Thai Police will transfer relevant information including evidences regarding the election obstructions and the seizing of government agencies premises to the DSI to proceed as special cases.
