On 6 March 2014, Mr. Sayom Sangvariputra, Managing Director of Dida Video Production Ltd., led a production team of a Thai Channel 7’s TV series to pay a courtesy call to H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of Thailand to the Russian Federation, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow, while later, on 12 March 2014, the Ambassador hosted dinner for the cast and crew at his Residence. In this connection, the Embassy also assisted and facilitated the delegation as considered appropriate.

The promotion of Thailand-Russia cultural cooperation has been one of major access mechanisms to reach Russian people, especially to those who already are fond of Thailand. This is due to the fact that cultural activities are usually highly effective and yield significant benefits to both the host and the partaking countries. For Thailand, cultural activities reflect sincerity and uniqueness of Thais, which could efficiently connect the peoples of both Thailand and Russia to the next level and lead to a closer relationship in other cooperation areas.
