On 11 February 2014, H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presented the Letter of Credence, accrediting His Excellncy as Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Armenia, to H.E. Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Armenia, at the Presidential Palace, Yerevan, Armenia.
 
On this occasion, the Ambassador had discussions with the President, H.E. Mr. Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and other high-ranking officials of Armenia on enhancing the bilateral ties between Thailand and Armenia in all existing and possible areas of cooperation. The Armenian side agreed to work closely with Thailand to further advance and concretize economic cooperation, especially cooperation in jewelry sector.
 
The Ambassador also had a meeting with leading Armenian jewelry business so as to discuss his vision for a trilateral cooperation in jewelry production and trading between Thailand, Armenia, and a third party of vast jewelry market. Armenian officials and businessmen expressed support for his vision and readiness to help realize the idea in the near future. The Ambassador also visited jewelry production sites in Armenia to observe the technology and readiness of Armenia as jewelry production and export base.
