     On 21 February 2014, the Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development  Association organized a seminar which was attended by the Consul-General of Thailand in Mumbai, who expressed his views on “Bilateral Trade and Investment Opportunities for Indian Companies and SMEs in Thailand”.  The seminar was held at Hotel Express Inn in Nishik, the third biggest city of the State of Maharashtra.  The purpose of this seminar was        to inform the participants about the supporting roles of banks such as Export-Import Bank of India , State Bank of India and Central Bank of India, etc. towards SMEs.

     On this occasion, the Consul-General informed the participants about trade and investment opportunities of Indian Companies in Thailand.

     During the seminar, H.E. Mr.Chhagan Bhujbal, Minister of Public Work Development and Tourism of the State of Maharashtra requested Thailand to import grapes        and wines from Nashik.
