The Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi organized the Children’s Day 2014 at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence on Friday 7 February 2014. Around 100 persons, children and parents alike, attended the event.

     The children played several games to enhance their command in Thai language as well as teamwork, such as word-guessing, sum-grouping and minesweeping. There were also booths for special interests including making of imitation fruits (Look-Choob) and colour-drawing. The event was concluded with a dinner hosted by the Thai Ambassador.

     Children’s Day was a cheerful occasion for both the children, who participated in the games and activities with enthusiasm and fair play, as well as their parents who helped supervise throughout the afternoon. It also gave the Thai community a chance to network with new friends.
