On 31 January 2014 H.E. Ambassador Somchai Charanasomboon attended the Workshop of Muay Thai at Stockholm Muay Thai Gym, which was organized  by the Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand in Stockholm and Mr. Thomas Rasmussen, owner of the Gym.  The instructors of the workshop were the trainers and champion of the Kaew Samrit Boxing Gym, a leading gym from Thailand who provided the genuine Thai Boxing to a few hundred trainees.  H.E. Ambassador Somchai gave an opening remark by appreciating TAT Office in Stockholm for organizing this event and Mr. Thomas Rasmussen for his cooperation.  He also mentioned that the workshop would provide a great opportunity for Thai Boxing lovers to learn and practice genuine Thai Boxing lessons with Thai instructors and Champions.
