On 17th October, 2013, Mr. Chakri Srichawana, Consul-General, accompanied by Ms. Benjamas Tanvetyanont, Deputy Consul-General; Ms. Pratana Udommongkolkul, Consul; and Ms. Pitchaya Wilad, Business Information Center Officer, participated in the 18th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair, organised by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) during 17th – 20th October, 2013, at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. The Consul-General, together with Mrs. Irene Va Kuan Lau, Executive Director of IPIM and the Consul-Generals from ASEAN countries, presided over the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Pavillion. The Royal Thai Consulate-General co-operated with the Commercial Section and the Board of Investment, Guangzhou Office, in exhibiting major Thai products – rice, jewelry, and fruits – in line with the 1 Ambassador 3 Products Policy. Other promotional materials, including leaflets and booklets on trade, investment and tourism, were also distributed to entrepreneurs and the general public accounting for over 116,000 people, who visited around 1,900 booths presented at the China, Europe, the Americas, and Portugese Speaking countries pavillions.
